I have over 15 years experience as a macro economist. With the majority of those years spent at the Bank of England, monetary policy is in my DNA. But in more recent times I have applied that knowledge in a large global macro hedge fund – COMAC Capital Llp – as head of fundamental economic research.
This blog is an effort to keep a record of my thoughts on economic developments in major economies around the world, the role played by central banks and how the global macro markets respond to those developments. I hope it proves useful in thinking about macro investment/trading decisions.
